本展に参加する両国の作家たちは、主にドローイングとその他のメディアを融合した作品制作、特に都市空間とその都市の歴史、同時代性に関連した作品制作に関心を寄せ、芸術表現の根源的な手法であるドローイングを様々な方法で用いるアーティストである。
アーティスト達は作品内(制作形式やコンセプト）という一定の限られた領域と、ダイナミックに変化する現実との両方を探求している。脳内に描くビジョンと網膜的なビジョンはビジュアルアーティストにとっての研究課題であると同時に実験器具でもある。
アーティストのビジョンは、大きな物語へのアンチテーゼを探し常に自らの経験を更新するために、
現実の隠れた側面を見るのに格好な観測地点を見つけ出そうとする。
そこでLimited Visionのキュレーターは「結果」すなわち利益と損失について自問する。もしその際に全体像を掴むことができなければ、それ相応に備えなければいけない。原因として考えられるのは、
１）一側面にしか焦点を当てていないこと「Spotlight」か
２）あるシステムに押し付けられた世界観とその中の自らの立ち位置「Rationing and disruption」か
３）知識が断片的で不完全であること「Fragments of the whole」 か、のどれかだ。
この複雑な考えは、危機的な瞬間から解放するものではなく、今日における芸術のノマディズムを説明するものである。ノマドは「終わりのない終わり」や「広大な景色」を旅し、未開拓で到達困難な領域を進んでいく。
本展では、人が余所見をしてきたことで無かった事とされてきてしまった大きな領域、または暈されてしまった起源の痕跡を１つ１つ集め特集する。
再配備し、新しい現実、新しい地形を見せることが本展の目標だ。

The artists invited to take part in the project explore in their works the width and scope of the range of vision, in the formal and conceptual sense, and in the context of the surrounding and dynamically changing reality. Vision and visual perception are at once the research subject and research instruments in the laboratory of a visual artist. Artistic vision of an artist and researcher pushes him/her to constantly update their experience and look for antitheses for dominant narratives, therefore they choose what they think is the most appropriate observation point, which allows them to see the hidden and unknown aspects of their reality. The curators of the LIMITED VISION exhibitions ask themselves questions regarding the consequences, i.e. gains and losses, one should be prepared for if they don't know the whole picture: either because of their deliberate focusing on just one aspect, or because of their fragmentary and incomplete knowledge (which is the only kind of knowledge we can get now), or, finally, because of their imperfect (imposed and rationed by the system) view of the world and their own place in it.
This complex idea, which is not free from upsetting crisis moments, is a description of today's artistic nomadism. Innumerable ends, vast vistas, points where different planes and phenomena come together are an artistic exploration of virgin and inaccessible territories. These phenomena reflect 'the mind map' of the invited artists and promise an open and long-lasting journey. The exhibitions will feature a collection of single pictures, which were removed from the larger whole by human glances and which blur the traces of their origin. Arranged anew, they show a completely new reality and its topography.
Both Polish and Japanese artists involved in the project are interested in their artistic practice in the area where drawing and other media come together, especially in the context of a city space and in connection with the city's history and contemporaneity. They often and in various ways employ drawing, which is a basic and fundamental discipline for other artistic disciplines. Drawing has played an important role in the traditions of both Japanese and Polish art. These days, we see the rebirth of drawing in artistic practice as a conceptual and artistic tool owing to its most direct and personal character.
